As part of this new approach we have an exciting opportunity as a SARC Manager within the Safeguarding Department.

As a SARC Manager you will manage and coordinate the delivery of the multi-agency services provided from within the Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARC) to ensure an efficient and effective service is provided.

 

You will be responsible for managing partnership contracts, overseeing and liaising with other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of services that meet local and national quality standards. Evidence of your contract management experience and relationship management should be provided.

 

You will work with the force strategic lead to assess capability and performance in order to ensure that the Sexual Offence Investigation Team (SOIT) profile is fully compliant with forensic training, policies, procedures and legislation.

 

You should demonstrate your planning and organisation skills which are an important part of this role. Evidence of your research skills and awareness in clinical governance involvement should be provided.

You will represent the organisation when liaising with partner agencies and will be able to evidence your excellent communication skills.

You should have previous experience as a team leader or manager for a period of three years or more.

You should be able to evidence previous Safeguarding experience.
