The Role:
The Emergency Services Network is a national project to deliver a cutting-edge communication system to the Emergency Services. You will be responsible for carrying out coverage testing throughout the Force area and maintaining accurate test records.

What will I be doing?
The ESN Support Assistant will be responsible for carrying out testing and measurement of 4G ESN signal coverage throughout the Force area and the wider North East region. This will include in-building coverage surveys, external walk testing and drive testing of roads. You will be working to set procedures and plans and assisting in the production of test results. At times, you will be working alongside colleagues from the Ambulance and Fire services as well as other third parties.

Vetting level:
Recruitment Vetting (RV)
Applicants must be a resident of the UK for a minimum period of 3 years to ensure vetting checks can be successfully performed. A job offer will be dependent upon vetting clearance, medical information and references.
