Financial Transaction Administrator – JRN 30208
 

The role:
Salary Banding: £18,499 - £19,044 

The role will consist of the following:

The successful candidate will provide and range of purchasing transactions and administrative support to effectively and efficiently support frontline and service departments.
Operate and maintain Force & Local Systems such as ‘UNIT 4’, accurately updating records.
Manage, maintain and update documents.
Provide a high level of customer services, processing enquires, providing and receiving information or redirecting staff to ensure effective and timely completion of transactions and customer satisfaction.

What will I be doing?

The successful candidate will undertake the following tasks:

Creation of orders for Goods and Services from pre-established Force Contracts.
Scouring Goods & Services relating to Ad-hoc requests made to the departments.
Providing guidance to customers regarding purchases.
Working closely with procurement officers / team working.
Liaising with suppliers, and various other stakeholders.
Problem solving.

What do I need?

The successful candidate must be:

Conscientious
Willing to learn
Have a “Can do attitude”
Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook/ e-mail

It is desirable that the successful candidate will have:

Experience in a purchasing function
Knowledge of UNIT 4
