Dame Vera Baird DBE QC the Police and Crime Commissioner for Northumbria, will appoint a new Chief Constable.  Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced senior police officers ready for this exciting but demanding position.

 

The PCC is looking to appoint an experienced chief officer who has the strategic vision and enthusiasm to lead a top performing force and shape its future direction.  Strong, visibly passionate about serving the communities of Northumbria and a consistent high level performer, you will be a progressive individual, determined to bring new ideas and fresh thinking.  You will enhance local service delivery through effective and transparent leadership whilst managing a highly complex stakeholder landscape in a collaborative and galvanising manner.
