Duration:  Commencing from ASAP but latest start date 1st July 2019 until end of March 2020 (internal or fixed term contract) (Subject to pre-employment checks)

 
Internal candidates must by supported by their current supervisor as well as their head of department, to be released for the duration of the secondment, failure to do so will result in the application being withdrawn. Internal candidates who are not supported by their supervision may apply for the role on a fixed term contract basis. 

External candidates can apply for a secondment but this must be with the agreement of their current employer and their current employer must be willing to enter into an agreement with Northumbria Police. Alternatively external candidates can apply for a fixed term contract without any approval from their employer. Business Analyst

 

What we are looking for:

 

A professional and creative leader and analyst who can effectively manage change and deliver sustainable improvement.

 

You must be an individual who is able to:

 

1.      Demonstrate experience of designing, leading and implementating transformational change projects and organisational structures;

2.      Develop new business models and operating processes by creating innovative solutions to change and sharing this knowledge in a clear and concise way;

3.      Lead on the planning and management of business activity analysis and effectively manage dependencies between areas of change, assessing the impact of that change;

4.      Manage and coordinate Project Support Adviser activity, ensuring that the project is fully supported, planned and managed;

5.      Effectivly engage and influence internal and external leaders (both verbally and written), stakeholders and subject experts, working collaborately across the region and nationally;

6.      Have strong facilitation skills to be abe to lead business teams through project design, development and implementation phases.

Vetting level: Recruitment Vetting (RV).  Applicants must be a resident of the UK for a minimum period of 3 years to ensure vetting checks can be successfully performed.
