Job Title: MASH Support Officer – JRN:  20394

Department: Safeguarding

Grade: D

Salary: £20,367 - £22,275

Based at: Foundry House, Bedlington

 

Flexible/reduced hours etc. will be considered on application (see Flexible Working Requests procedure for other types of flexible working). 

 

Role:

As a MASH Support Officer you will be responsible for receiving and reviewing referrals and notifications from a variety of partner agencies. You will ensure information is shared accurately and within the legislative framework with other stakeholders to support effective safeguarding.

 

You will be responsible for ensuring open cases are identified and referred to the relevant external agencies and to the correct teams within the organisation. You will also be assigned to undertake research to prepare for meetings with partner agencies. This research will inform report writing and support decision making at relevant meetings, therefore accuracy is essential.

You should demonstrate your planning and organisational skills which are an important part of this role.  Evidence of your research skills should be included.

You should also evidence your communication skills as on a daily basis you will be in direct contact with internal and external colleagues.
