person to join our team as a Governance and Planning Co-ordinator. We’re
looking for a strong communicator who isn’t afraid to work hard, get stuck into
tasks and support the team. You’ll be a single point of contact for all information
and benchmarking requests and will maintain a professional and accurate
approach to all stakeholders. This is a really diverse role where you could be

What does a typical day look like?
· Providing guidance to authors of our policy and procedure system – ensuring information is accurate and relevant
· Recording and disseminating information and correspondence from external agencies, liaising with relevant area commands and departments on progress and action
· Undertaking environmental scanning
· Co-ordinating benchmarking requests
· Providing a secretariat service to strategic board meetings, ensuring reports meet the corporate standard and are in-line with the governance and decision making framework
· Supporting the team with other functions – for example – risk management and support for external inspection activity
Sounds great – what skills will I need?
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills are imperative
· You’ll need to be able to work well in a team as well as being adaptable to working independently
· Great organisation skills – along with strong attention to detail
· Self-motivation as well as a strong work ethic – you should take pride in producing a high standard of work at all times
· Experience in using Microsoft packages
