Property Clerk - JRN 16014
 

The role:
12 month Secondment/Fixed Term Contract – 37hrs 

We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join Business Support as a Property Clerk supporting the transfer of property systems.

Property Clerks are responsible for providing a property storage, retrieval and disposal service in support of force wide activities and operational officers.

What will I be doing?

This is a uniformed role and the successful candidate will join an established team of personnel whose responsibilities also include the need to review the retention and disposal of property to ensure that the store levels are kept to a minimum, including the assistance of property migration via a new system. This role requires flexibility, potentially working from various locations eg, Southwick, South Shields, Newcastle, Bedlington.

The role involves daily manual handling of a wide variety of items.

What do I need?

The individual will need to respond to internal and external enquiries, be able to communicate effectively at all levels, be confident when working as part of a team, be competent in dealing with force systems and flexible in relation to working locations.

Vetting level: Recruitment Vetting (RV)
