Lateral Flow Testing Administrator - Temporary Contract
 

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 8am – 4pm (flexibility required)

Location: Etal Lane Police Station

Contract – 6 weeks initially, with the possibility for extension

Immediate start date

Salary/Hourly Rate - £11.50 an hour

The role:



We are currently seeking immediately available individuals with strong administration and customer service skills to support our Police Force with Covid-19 testing. 


Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

·       Supporting the running of a lateral flow testing site near Etal Lane, Newcastle

·       Supporting our Police staff/Police Officer’s to undertake necessary Covid-19 tests.

·       Entering and logging information and results

·       Providing a strong customer service experience.


Please note that a briefing and training will be provided.


The above list is not exhaustive and other duties commensurate with the grade and general nature of the post may, from time to time, be required. In addition, there may be some variation and/or development of the above duties and responsibilities without changing the general nature of the post.


What you will need:

·       Previous experience in an administrative or customer service position

·       Basic IT skills

·       Excellent customer service skills

·       Excellent communication skills both verbally and written

·       Immediately available to start work


Vetting level:
 Recruitment Vetting (level to be inserted) Applicants must be a resident of the UK for a minimum period of 3 years to ensure vetting checks can be successfully performed. 


A job offer will be dependent upon vetting clearance, medical information and references.  


Vetting will be performed while you are in post, if you were to fail vetting or any other pre-employment check, your offer will be withdrawn/your employment terminated.
