Salary:  

Grade F  £26,244 to £28,725 – if unqualified as a financial Investigator.
Grade G £28,974 to £31,7725 – when fully qualified in the role of financial Investigator

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Financial Investigation and Asset Recovery Team. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to play a vital role in the disruption of Organised Crime Groups through financial investigation and asset recovery.  

In return for your dedication and experience, we offer 23 days’ leave, excluding bank holidays, increasing to 28 days for 5 years+ service. What will I be doing?

You will be required to plan, conduct and co-ordinate financial investigations in relation to criminal confiscation, restraint, cash seizures, money laundering and financial intelligence.

In addition, you will conduct fast time financial enquiries to assist with locating victims, suspects and witnesses to safeguard the vulnerable and offer tactical options to facilitate and support prosecutions.

What do I need?

The successful candidate will demonstrate a drive to deliver a high quality of service, have excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and part of a small team.  You will have proven criminal and financial investigative experience and preferably be a qualified financial investigator with current powers.

A strong team ethic is essential together with the willingness to work flexibly and to participate in an out of hours service provided by the team.


Vetting level:

Recruitment Vetting (RV)

Applicants must be a resident of the UK for a minimum period of 3 years to ensure vetting checks can be successfully performed.  A job offer will be dependent upon vetting clearance, medical information and references.
