Roles at the Office of the Police & Crime Commissioner (OPCC) can range from delivering education sessions in schools as part of the Violence Reduction Unit to supporting the Commissioner’s drive to provide support services to victims of crime. The Role
The VRU Support officer will be based within the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner and will be part of the VRU team supporting the delivery of the strategic aims and objectives of the VRU. Working with the Director of the VRU and the Public Health Specialist you will support and help implement systems to monitor, maintain and report on the progress and impact of the delivery of the VRU Response Strategy. This role will also provide administrative support to the VRU Board and the associated delivery groups.
The VRU Support Officer will also assist the wider team to develop and monitor project plans, including resource and risk management.
What do I need?
· Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification or possess significant demonstrable experience commensurate with the role.
· Experience in developing and implementing project management systems and processes to monitor impact and outcomes
· Experience in presenting data and information in a wide range of formats for a range of audiences.
· Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to engage with a variety of audiences.
