The role:
An opportunity has arisen within the Business Support Department for a Team Leader position. 
In Local Services, and will be based at Ponteland. The role will provide Business Support services to staff at Ponteland and Hexham, as well as the smaller bases in East and West Tynedale. 

What will I be doing?
The Team Leader role is varied and demanding requiring excellent planning and organisational skills to ensure a high quality of service to our customers.  Applicants should ideally have experience of staff supervision and demonstrate an understanding of Health & Safety, Staff Performance Management and Problem Solving.

The successful candidate will possess:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good understanding of delivering customer service to a high standard
Experience of deployment of resources utilising RMS to meet business requirements.
Experience of management and delegation of staff workload to ensure service level agreements are achieved 
A valid UK driving license for over 12 months

Vetting level: Recruitment Vetting (RV) 
Applicants must be a resident of the UK for a minimum period of 3 years to ensure vetting checks can be successfully performed.  A job offer will be dependent upon vetting clearance, medical information and references.
