The Role:
We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join Business Services as an Administrator working alongside our local operational teams based within Southern Area Command, based at South Shields Police Station.
This is an exciting and challenging role working within a small team working 15 hours per week.
What Do I Need:
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of:
- Applying exceptional attention to detail.
- Working with various IT systems including Microsoft excel
- Being personally responsible for own workload and being highly organised.
- Working alone as well as part of a team.
Full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
What Will I Be Doing:
- Managing personal and departmental mailboxes and incoming post, ensuring its allocation and dissemination
- Providing statistical information using various office software packages
- Filing report in accordance with Management of Police Information guidelines incorporating research, documenting, retrieving and scanning (this doesn’t make sense?)
- Preparing and administering documents for internal and external storage in accordance with MOPI regulations and allocating review dates ensuring GDPR principles are adhered to.
- Liaising with various departments wherever necessary regarding evidential statements for inclusion in court files and queries.
- Provide statistical reports for Senior Management.
Vetting level: Recruitment Vetting (RV)
Applicants must be a resident of the UK for a minimum period of 3 years to ensure vetting checks can be successfully performed.
A job offer will be dependent upon vetting clearance, medical information and references.
